Julie Cooper

Julie Cooper, PharmD

Owner, President

True to her original inspiration to pursue a degree in pharmacy (a small soda fountain pharmacy in her hometown of Rockwood, TN), Julie has dedicated her career to independent community pharmacy.  A graduate of ETSU's College of Pharmacy in 2012, she returned to Johnson City in 2017 as the owner of West Towne Pharmacy and Princeton Drug.  She is passionate about patient care and the irreplaceable role that independent community pharmacists play in providing a level of care that is unrivaled anywhere in the industry.  When not working to move the needle for her patients and the pharmacy industry, she enjoys playing soccer and spending time outdoors with her husband, children, and dogs along the banks of Melton Hill Lake.

Kristen Archibald

Kristen Archibald, PharmD

Owner, Chief Operating Officer

Kristen began her career as the Director of Clinical Services at West Towne Pharmacy and Princeton Drug shortly after graduating from ETSU College of Pharmacy. Kristen is passionate about safely and effectively managing disease states, community service, patient advocacy, and educating patients on their medication regimens. Kristen now serves as Owner and Chief Operating Officer for West Towne Pharmacy and Princeton Drug. In her spare time, Kristen enjoys traveling with her husband, being outdoors, reading, caring for her 7 pets, and visiting with her family.

Miranda Cole

Miranda Cole, PharmD

Princeton Drug Manager

Miranda has been passionate about independent community pharmacy since she was 16 years old working as a cashier in a local drug store in Hurley, Virginia. She continued to chase her dreams of being a pharmacist by working as a pharmacy intern while attending Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy. She joined Princeton Drug in 2022 to bring her vision of improving and advancing healthcare to life. She strives each day to not only help her patients but to make a real difference in advancing their overall medical care. 

 

When not working, she loves spending time with her husband Dylan and her dog Ranger. Her hobbies are hunting, boating, and family dinners which she loves to host. 

Evin Hughes

Evin Hughes, PharmD

Pharmacist

Evin started her community pharmacy journey in 2018 and continued to work as an intern throughout pharmacy school. After recently graduating from ETSU Gatton College of Pharmacy, she is excited to officially begin her career in independent pharmacy. She is passionate about serving others and wants to ensure that her patients get the best care that they deserve. During her spare time, Evin enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, seeing family, traveling, and baking.

Michelle Miller

Michelle Miller, CPhT

Certified Pharmacy Technician

Michelle has been passionate about helping people in the community and working in the medical field for years. She always has a smile on her face and is ready to help her patients at any given moment. She has been working in this field for a few years and is always ready to learn. She enjoys baking, cooking, watching football and driving her Jeep on the weekends with her husband. She is a mother to 6 children and also has one grandchild whom she loves to spoil on her time off!

Genia Whitehead

Princeton Drug Retail Manager

Genia Whitehead is a proud southerner who was born and raised in Elizabethton, TN.  She started with Princeton Drug over 20 years ago with Mark and Doug. She learned a lot from these gentlemen and the original gang.  Now, she is excited to be working and learning with the Julie, Miranda, and Kristen. Genia truly enjoys our customers and is working to combine all she has learned over the years to continue to meet the needs of our patients and to put a smile on their faces!

Rebekah Campbell

Rebekah Campbell, PhT

Pharmacy Technician

Rebekah is passionate about helping people in the community and knew she wanted to work at West Towne Pharmacy when she received great patient care when she was needing it most. She loves getting to know her patients and building bonds with them while helping them get the care they deserve. In her free time she enjoys thrifting, going to the movies, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband Justin, dog Ringo, and the rest of her family.

Kathryn is a Johnson City native and current student at ETSU College of Pharmacy. She enjoys the relationships she has built over her years at West Towne. She's excited for the future and the services West Towne can offer our patients. When not at work or school, Kathryn enjoys spending time with her husband or visiting her dad in North Myrtle Beach.

Kati Austin

Student Pharmacist

Kati is a second year pharmacy student at ETSU's Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy with an expected graduation date of 2026. She graduated from Appalachian State University in 2022 with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science. Prior to working at West Towne Pharmacy, she worked as a hospital technician and is excited to transition to serving the community in the independent retail setting. She is passionate about helping patients, working on a team, administering vaccines/shots, and learning about medications. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, thrifting, and rollerblading. 

​Madison Coyne

Madison Coyne

Student Pharmacist

Madison is our Pharmacy Intern from Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy at East Tennessee State University. She is a 2020 graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor's of Science in Chemistry. Prior to joining our team, Madison was a hazardous compounding technician in Atlanta, GA. Her future career ambitions include operating her very own independent-community pharmacy, offering compounding services and Spanish healthcare interpretation. Her broad experience in small town, as well as, large metropolitan city pharmacies heightens her ability to offer an exceptional customer/patient experience.
